Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

What we do with the information we have
We use the information that you have given us in order to comply with our contracts with you. We use customer data to communicate with customers and to make arrangements for them to book with us and to collect from us. We use employee data to communicate with employees and to remunerate them.
We do not share customer data with any other person or organisation. We may share this employee data with HMRC and with other persons or bodies with whom we are required by law to share such data.
How we store your information
Your information is securely stored in working documents (booking diary, booking form, collection tickets) on our premises. Collection tickets are taken by customers when collecting their items, or are destroyed by us if not required by the customer. Other documents are stored securely off-site when no longer required for the day-to-day running of the business, and are then shredded and disposed of after they have been retained off-site for one year.
We store employee data securely on a computer and off-site (hard copies). We store the data for so long as an individual is an employee, and thereafter for as long as we are required to by law. At this stage data held digitally is erased and hard copies are shredded and disposed of.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.
You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
